At the summit of Le Suquet hill, overlooking the town of Cannes, stands the Note Dame d’Espérance church, churches dating from the 12th and 16th centuries as well as the 12th century tower with its superb 360° view point (accessed by the Castre museum). At the bottom of Le Suquet (meaning “small hill” in Provencal) visit the Forville market, renowned for its florists, market gardeners, cheese sellers and fishmongers.
15 minutes away by boat are the islands of Sainte Marguerite with its fort and St Honorat and its Cistercian monastery.
