This was a wonderful, intimate personal hotel in a great location. From the time we checked in until we had to leave, the staff was excellent! The rooms were nicely decorated, we had a view of the sea, the bathroom was small but complete. Breakfast in the glassed in front room was cosy and relaxed. I would not only recommend this hotel but definately stay again. PW
Frommer’s review :
Small, charming, and personalized, with a low-key management by the Schildknecht family, this is a well-positioned hotel that was once a private villa. In the 1960s, it was transformed into a hotel, and a six-unit annex was built in the garden. Today you'll find structures with lots of glass that overlook a kidney-shape swimming pool, and a decor that has aspects of the French colonial tropics, with lots of potted plants and a breezy indoor-outdoor motif that is appealing and relaxing. Bedrooms are outfitted with fabric-covered walls, in different colors and patterns, with lots of Provençal accessories. Bathrooms are small but tidily maintained.
WGuides.com review :
This three-star hotel on the hill of Suquet overlooks the old town. It is only a few minutes from the town centre and the beaches. The Croisette promenade by the sea and the Rue d'Antibes with its attractive boutiques are only a short walk away. Relax in the garden, the terrace and the kidney shaped swimming-pool whilst enjoying the view of the sea. The rooms are simple and decorated in pastel colours. A charming little place with many good little restaurants nearby.
